Living la Vida Fearless

 The first of many steps
Back to Full Blog

Well Happy Spring everybody. As promised, on the day of the spring equinox, I started my 1000km walk. I will walk 7 km each day, or more, until the fall equinox which is actually more than 1000km. It's a promise I made to myself and I want to raise some funds for a much needed charity in my area.
I got up at 6am to a dark morning and a sunny puppy. We still have out daughter's dog and she is always ready for a walk so off we went. It's still cold and icy here so the walking was a little tough at times, especially through the waterfront trail, but it was ok. I had the big, beautiful full moon on one side of me getting ready to call it a night and the bright sun just beginning to peek through the clouds and say good morning on the other side of me. I was going to take a picture of me on my first step but I couldn't find the camera....So, only 997 km to go and then I'm done. Care to join in? Living la vida fearless, Jan
